Today, Expanse Engineering builds upon this expertise and depth of experience when conducting studies on existing and proposed electrical systems. We also provide electrical EPC services for design support for contractors on design/build projects, along with owner engineer services. These services include design review, specification preparation, schematic and wiring diagrams, installation details, inspection of equipment and technical expertise for contract and litigation support.

Founded in 1951, Dixie Electric, now operating as Expanse, has provided electrical, pole line and automation services to energy producers in many of the nation’s most prolific oil and natural gas producing regions. The company provides core services that span the entire lifecycle of a well, focusing on stable completion and production activity.

Patriot Electric + Automation, now operating as Expanse, was founded in 2001, providing automation and integration services to the oil and gas industry. Since that time, the company has transitioned to be a comprehensive electrical contractor that is part of the Expanse Electrical family of brands.

Since 1986, L&K Electric, now operating as Expanse, has provided friendly and prompt oilfield services at competitive prices for customers in the Bakken region. Located in Williston, North Dakota, our team of highly trained and licensed electricians, automation techs and design engineers are dedicated to providing customers with the services and support needed to get the job done right, the first time.

Expanse’s in-depth automation department – including a standalone panel shop – can design and build automated systems from conception to inception. We also provide electrical services to oil and gas, industrial and commercial customers in Western North Dakota and Eastern Montana.

Transform Power Services was founded in 2018, providing construction and maintenance services to the utility market in Texas and New Mexico.
